Welcome to Restorative Journeys by Debra Orringer. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and the travel planning and advisory services provided by Debra Orringer (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Our Services

Restorative Journeys is a travel advisory service. Debra Orringer is an independent travel advisor with Fora Travel, Inc. (“Fora”), the licensed travel agency through which your travel is booked. We help you plan and arrange restorative, wellness-focused travel, acting as an advisor and intermediary between you and the independent suppliers who actually provide your travel, such as airlines, hotels, resorts, cruise lines, tour operators, and other vendors. Your bookings are also subject to Fora’s terms and policies and to each supplier’s own terms.

Planning Fees

Our planning fees cover the time, expertise, and coordination involved in designing and arranging your trip. They are quoted before we begin, are separate from the cost of your travel, and are due when planning begins. Because they pay for professional time and services, planning fees are non-refundable.

Bookings and Third-Party Suppliers

The airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, and other suppliers we arrange on your behalf are independent businesses. Your travel is subject to each supplier’s own terms, conditions, and policies, including their pricing, availability, cancellation, and change rules. We do not own or operate these services and are not responsible for their acts, omissions, delays, or failures.

Payments

Payments for travel are typically made to the applicable supplier or through our host agency under that supplier’s terms. Prices and availability can change until a booking is confirmed and paid in full.

Cancellations, Changes, and Travel Insurance

Cancellations and changes are governed by the policies of the applicable suppliers, which may include penalties or non-refundable amounts. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to help protect your investment against cancellations, interruptions, medical issues, and other covered events.

Travel Documents and Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring you have valid travel documents, including passports, visas, and any required health or entry documentation, and for meeting all destination requirements. We are glad to share general guidance, but requirements are set by governments and can change. Please verify current requirements with the appropriate authorities before you travel.

Travel is sold through Fora Travel, Inc., which is registered as a Seller of Travel: California Registration No. 2151995-50; Florida Registration No. ST43973; Washington UBI No. 605329242. Registration as a seller of travel does not constitute approval by the state.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Your continued use of the website or our services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
